I was very nervous to begin with, but now I am much more confident. So if you're nervous about speaking with those you don't know, give it a try, it really does help you out.
Lots of libraries get really busy and sometimes overloaded from all the extra children taking part. By helping the library runs much smoother.
It really makes a difference to children and their parents to see someone of the younger generation helping them with the SRC.
Helps so much with confidence, and rewarding in the process.
I would tell people that this is a great hack to do and pursue with it.
