Read advice from other Hackers
it was really good fun
definitely try it out
I had lots of fun and it was really intresting
It's a great opportunity, and a great way to give back to the community.
Yes I would tell younger Voulentiers about this hack
it is good
This hack is a good way to help children get excited about reading and improve their confidence when you ask them questions about their books.
Depending on the library you volunteer at, what you get out of the experience will vary, for example, at my local library, all they want you to do is ask the children questions about their book and then give them the prizes, however other libraries may teach you more responsibilities such as how to lend out books.
Overall I've had a good experience however I've spent a lot of hours just waiting for children to tell me about their books when the library wasn't busy.
Do it for the CV
It is a great opportunity to help out at the library and find out about new books and recomend books to the younger people
Give it a try; its always nice to reflect on what you have read, and pick your favourite quotes. Its a quick hack which will take just 0.02 hours (that is one minute)
i would tell other Hackers to create a poster for their library as well.
It is a great experience to do at some point.
It may seem daunting at first but you will quickly learn how everything works and that its not as hard as it may seem. Make sure to show enthusiasm to those signing up for the challenge and ask them about the books they are taking out and encourage them to keep on reading after they finish the challenge.
I would like to tell other hackers that this hack is fun if you like being organised, explaining things and talking to children.
I would tell thousands or millions of hackers about the summer volunteering and wish lots more people will join every year .
I would recommend this hacked to anyone who enjoys reading and adores children.
