Man Booker Prize shortlist 2018

The shortlist for the 2018 Man Booker Prize was announced on Thursday 20 September, featuring the six books the judges will choose between to choose the overall winner. The winner will be considered to be the best novel written in English and published over the last year.
The shortlist features four women and two men and covers a wide range of subjects, from an 11 year-old slave escaping a Barbados sugar plantation, to a D-Day veteran living with post-traumatic stress disorder.
