What is it?
Gateshead Reading Hackers chose to read a novel and hack it by writing a song about it. They worked with local singer songwriter Phil Larry to write a song about James Patterson's novel 'I Totally Funniest' and had great fun in the process. You can see the final result on the Reading Agency website http://readingagency.org.uk/young-people/002-showcase/songwriting-hacks.html
Where will it happen?
We used one of our library community rooms, but if you know anyone with a recording studio that would be very helpful!
When is it?
Anytime!
How?
A potential hacker will need their chosen novel, pens and paper to write their song, a musical instrument or a talented musician to give them a hand!
