Group Leader of "Our Say - Birtley"

I have been group leader of "Our Say - Birtley" (part of Gateshead Reading Activists) since 2012. During that time we have staged a variety of events at Birtley Library (themes have included Alice in Wonderland, Doctor Who, Nerd Nights, Kawaii events, Christmas Markets & Halloween). We have worked with a range artists and have been involved with a number of workshops (e.g graphic design sessions, silk screen printing, film making courses at Tyneside Cinema). We've had a lot of book-based fun along the way ... and eaten vast amounts of pizza!
